The Refined Beanie is handknit in Chiloquin using the same pattern as the Rustic Beanie but switching in Lani’s Lana Buffalo Hills Yarn, so it’s a whole different hat. The wool for this yarn comes from Rambouillet sheep raised at the Bare Ranch in Northern California, is spun in Wyoming, and100% naturally dyed. Rambouillet wool is known for its soft, fine texture. The sheep themselves thrive in the high desert environment and are managed using Climate Beneficial principles. The resulting hat is not only, squishy, smooth, classic, local, but also good for the environment!
